The Training Consultants from the Friendly Schools & Families Team within the Australian Council for Educational Research Professional Resources Division offer a variety of training and professional development programs.
These programs are tailored to meet the specific needs of each audience.
For schools working with the Friendly Schools & Families materials,
we offer:
one hour, one and a half hours, two hours, half
day and full day programs .
We also offer two and three-day “training- the trainer courses” for District Based Personnel to work with schools using the Friendly Schools & Families materials.
This training is offered to ensure that each District has the opportunity to present a coordinated approach to meet the agreed understandings of ‘countering bullying’ in schools. The training also supports behaviour management and discipline policy requirements for each of the systems of education throughout Australia.
